PME account passwords

The Power Monitoring Expert 8.2 Installer changes the SQL Server password for the default ION login.

To check whether the password was changed on the old system:

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor and browse to:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Schneider Electric\ION Enterprise\Power Monitoring Expert\6.07.0.17.2.28.0\8.2\Databases [For 64-bit systems]

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Schneider Electric\ION Enterprise\Power Monitoring Expert\6.07.0.17.2.28.0\8.2\Databases [For 32-bit systems]

If there is a key named Password, of Type REG_BINARY, then the ION login has been changed. You will need to find the password and manually change it using the PME 8.2 Installer on the new system.

If there is no such key, then the default password is used and no changes need to be made on the new system.
